Abstract:
This research introduces a 3D printing process for creating anatomically precise hip models from CT scans for orthopedic training. It encompasses automated mesh cleaning and recommends specific materials and print settings for bone-like fidelity. Through structural assessments and expert collaboration, a user-friendly protocol is established, enhancing surgical training aids by closely mimicking real bone characteristics. This advancement holds significant promise for medical education, demonstrating the potential of 3D printing in improving surgical preparedness and patient care.
