Knowledge Base Repository

In addition to research papers, the Design Society is developing several valuable resources for those interested in the study of design. These include a repository of PhD theses, a library of case studies and transcripts of design activities, and an archive of our newsletters. Please note that these resources are accessible exclusively to Design Society members.

Design Exchange

Something exciting is in development that will be exclusive to Design Society Members. The Design Society Exchange will provide a place to disseminate Design methods and case studies on Design for all Design Society members to contribute and share.

Design methods are being curated to provide a structure to the fuzzy, open-ended, human-centred design process. We are developing a comprehensive collection of methods that are organized to help you navigate the ambiguous nature of design. Our methods will be actionable, with best practices, instructions for use, resources, and more to help you seamlessly embed design thinking into your work.

As we develop contextual examples of design methods in practice, we aim to support designers in addressing complex challenges through a human-centred design process. Our ongoing efforts to expand our collection of case studies will inspire and empower the design community to creatively embed methods in practice.
