DS Scholarships (ICED25)

The Design Society is pleased to launch two new scholarship models to support our members’ participation in leading conferences across the design research and education community. These scholarships are designed to foster inclusivity, reduce financial barriers, and enhance member engagement by enabling more members to attend and contribute to Design Society-supported events.

Database and Report: The Value of Engineering Design Research - UK Study

Members of Design Society now benefit from a newly accessible database showcasing a collection of significant Engineering Design research projects. This repository serves as a robust foundation to support and advocate for future research endeavours.

New SIG: Design Research Quality

The latest addition to our Special Interest Groups (SIGs) is Design Research Quality! The DRQ SIG aims to enhance the quality of design research by celebrating the diversity of perspectives, methodologies, outputs, and impacts within the field.
