The North American Chapter (NAC) of the Design Society is hosting its 2026 kick-off event on Zoom + Mural. The event will reintroduce the chapter, its co-leads, and its goals; provide an opportunity for networking among colleagues; and invite participants to share ideas for the chapter's direction moving forward.

The North American Chapter (NAC) of the Design Society aims to promote, publicise, and disseminate design science research and knowledge to industry and design practitioners, researchers, students, funding agencies, academic administrators, and the wider public. It also seeks to build a strong community within North America and across continents, countries, and disciplines, connecting academia, industry, and government, and supporting the career development of Design Society members.
Co-leads Matthew Wettergreen and Caryle Lauff will be hosting a 2026 NAC kick-off event on Zoom + Mural.
