International Symposium on Hybrid Intelligence in Product and Production Engineering
(HIPPE 2026)
25-26 March 2026, Paderborn, Germany
HIPPE 2026 Call for Papers
Extended Abstract Submission Deadline: 31 August 2026
Unvealing the power of extreme data for product creation
For the first time, the symposium on hybrid intelligence in product and production engineering will take place in Paderborn from March 25-26, 2026. During the two-day symposium, the scientific discourse will be guided by the question of how not only hybrid decision support, but hybrid intelligence in general can be used to increase performance in product creation. Both approaches from the engineering sciences and approaches from computer science that are used in the context of product creation are welcome. Potentials and possible limitations will be discussed together in order to create groundbreaking findings for the further development of the research field.
The main topics of HIPPE 2026 are:
• DS/AI approaches in product creation
• Human-DS/AI interaction in product creation
• Sustainability and circular economy in product creation
• Decision support in product creation
A detailed description of the topics is available at: https://www.hippesymposium.org/en/research-area-tracks
Submission of contributions for the symposium
Contributions for presentation at the symposium will be accepted in the form of a two-page extended abstract in English. After acceptance, submissions will be made in a full paper of up to 10 pages. The contributions will be evaluated in a blind review process and selected for presentation at the symposium. Accepted publications will be published Open Access.
Students and doctoral candidates are invited to submit research results from, for example, student projects or theses in the form of a poster and to present them in a poster session.
