Submission of abstracts is due by Monday 17th November 2025 (now closed).
Submission of full papers is due by Monday 23rd February (extended to Monday 2nd March) 2026 Midnight GMT

The 28th International Conference on Engineering and Product Design Education will be hosted at: University of Bristol, Clifton Campus, UK, on the 3rd and 4th September 2026. There will be pre-conference workshops and events on 2nd September. The E&PDE 2025 theme is Exploring Diversity in Engineering and Product Design Education.
The conference is organised in partnership between the Design Education Special Interest Group (DESIG) of the Design Society and the Institution of Engineering Designers (IED).
The E&PDE 2026 conference will bring together representatives from education and industry who have an interest in sharing new perspectives on design education. It will provide a forum for educators, practitioners and students from product and engineering design and development, human-centred and inclusive design and industry to discuss current and future educational issues. Professionals and students from other disciplines are also invited to contribute and participate.
