About the Conference
The 28th International DSM Conference will be hosted at the Bovisa Campus, Politecnico di Milano, from September 29 to October 1, 2026. Under the theme “Threads of Collaboration: Interlacing Minds and Machines,” DSM 2026 will explore how design structure and system modeling connect diverse disciplines, from engineering and AI to industrial innovations.
Co-organized with ABB, the conference will feature leading experts, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities that foster interdisciplinary collaboration. An early bird registration option will be available, offering discounted rates for those who register in advance.
Dependency and Structure Modeling (DSM) techniques support the management of complexity by focusing attention on the elements of a complex system and how they relate to each other. DSM-based methods have proven to be very valuable in understanding, designing, and optimizing complex system architectures such as those of products, organizations, and processes.
