Abstract:
This paper presents a pilot study that highlights collaboration between ceramic art and industrial design.
The study is focused on developing a ceramic lamp that can be mass-produced and marketed as a design
artefact. There are two ultimate goals of the study: first, to establish an iterative process of collaboration
between ceramic art and industrial design through an example of manufactured design artefact and second
to expand transdisciplinary and collaborative knowledge.
