Code of Professional Conduct
The fundamental purpose of the Design Society is to create and propagate a body of knowledge in design through research, education and practice.
We are proud to say we have members in over 50 countries worldwide. Here you can find everything about being our member, benefits, fees, questions asked and more.
After logging in to your Dashboard, you can personalise your public profile by adding a profile photo and updating personal information, including language and regional preferences. This helps the Society present content and connections that are most relevant to you.
Your profile details help the system surface resources most aligned with your interests—for example, enabling you to see research updates, events, and Special Interest Group (SIG) content that match your focus areas.
Within the Dashboard, you can update your subscriptions and newsletter subscriptions, set preferences for SIG updates, and select notifications that match your research or design practice interests.
The Dashboard allows you to change your password and manage subscriptions quickly, ensuring your account remains secure and up to date at all times.
