Abstract

This study examined the design path for an immersive cultural heritage experience with AIGC technology, an example of a realm is Kaiping Watchtower. The study uses tools like GPT-4 and Stable Diffusion to generate historical scenes and interactive experiences, increasing user participation. The interactive episodes are further enriched by a blend of virtual reality (VR) elements and augmented realities (AR), weaving together storytelling with cultural revitalization. By providing a new perspective for the use of AIGC technology in cultural heritage preservation, this study offers directions towards understanding its contribution to cultural identity and engagement.
