Abstract:
In this paper, we propose a model of evaluation in accordance with the
seven principles of Universal Design (UD). This model integrates the analysis and breakdown of the critical elements of the product; the identification of direct and indirect users; and the principles of UD as questions about all the critical elements of a product. We also study a real case of a user of a home wheelchair in order to show the utility of the proposed model.
