PhD Position Opening at Politecnico di Milano
Decarbonizing Humanitarian Operations: Energy/Material Modelling and Product (Re)Design for Reduced Environmental Impact
We are pleased to announce the launch of a new PhD position developed in partnership with the World Food Programme (WFP) and its UNHRD Innovation Lab. After a significant collaborative effort, this joint initiative is now ready to welcome applications.
We are looking for highly motivated applicants with a background in at least one of the following areas:
- Design Engineering
- Materials Science or Engineering
- Sustainability or Environmental Engineering
Candidates with expertise or familiarity in one or more of the following areas are especially encouraged to apply:
- Engineering Design Methods and Tools
- Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)
- Materials Engineering
- Product and/or Systems Design
This position is offered within the PhD Programme in Science, Technology and Policy for Sustainable Change, whose staff we warmly thank for their support.
