Abstract:
Development tasks often rely on value engineering to optimize functionality while minimizing effort, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction. Traditionally, improving system performance through advanced technologies has been common. However, sufficiency strategies advocate for reducing functionalities to mitigate environmental impacts, potentially dissatisfying customers. The present work proposes a paradigm shift within an extended Kano Model, introducing a reverse function to inspiringly integrate sufficiency for a sustainable design, validated on functional requirements for vehicles.
