Abstract

This paper explores the implications of digital technology in architectural design, looking at tech-niques of digital design and their influence on design thinking. It not only explores 3D modelling tools and their intrinsic morphogenetic features but redefines strategies of design and examines their im-plementation in education. It implies critical analysis and assessment of 3D modeling programs as de-sign tools employed in a workshop involving architecture students from the universities of Innsbruck and Karlsruhe.
