Abstract:
Bicycle-cleaning experience shop service design for behavioral change is a design that is concerned with how design can shape, be used to influence the cleaning behavior of the bicycle users. This experience shop provides bicycle users with education and hands-on experiences on bicycle cleaning. To be specific, highly experienced bicycle-cleaning experts teach inexperienced bicycle users how to clean bicycles, which then empowers those bicycle users to clean their own bicycles without aversion. From this experience, bicycle users will learn that cleaning increase bicycle functionality and that bicycles are not difficult to clean. Furthermore, bicycle users change their behavior from an aversion to a proclivity then extending their behaviors to independently engaging in self bicycle cleaning. In this paper, a bicycle-cleaning experience shop service design case will be discussed based on the Product-Service System design methodology. Further prototyping and customer experience evaluation has been done with business strategy improvements. In this paper, the specific and real process of the Design and Prototyping of an Experience Shop would be examined with experience in the improvement of the bicycle and change in bicycle user’s behavior.
