Abstract:
Almost exactly 12 years ago – at the DFX Symposium 2000 – the author for the first time presented the approach of modelling products and product development processes based on product characteristics and properties. This contribution gives an overview over the backgrounds of this approach, shows the approach itself and asks what came out of it.
