22nd Summer School on Engineering Design Research (SSEDR ’20)
The aims of SSEDR are to make PhD students who are working on topics related to Design Science better qualified and equipped for their research by (i) helping them select a theoretical foundation and develop a research approach, and (ii) encouraging discussion and collaboration.
The 22nd edition of the Summer School on Engineering Design Research (SSEDR ’20) takes place:
- Week 1: June 7th – June 13th at the CIS de Champagne hostel, Reims, France (https://www.cisreims.com/)
- Week 2: July 26th – August 1st at the Maison d’accueil des Soeurs Franciscaines, Luxembourg (http://web.cathol.lu/article1629)
The Summer School is suitable for PhD students who have decided on a research topic, have undertaken a literature study, have formulated first aims and objectives and have an initial plan of work. The number of participants is limited to max. 20. The deadline for application is on April 3rd, 2020.
The total fee including full-board accommodation is 1,300 Euro. For members of the Design Society or candidates of institutes with a group membership the fee is 1,250 Euro (www.designsociety.org). (Note that this reduction alone pays for more than two years of associate membership in the Design Society at 20 £/year.)
