Interested in joining the Design Society and our worldwide community? The Design Society is a research community dedicated to design and the study of design. By joining, you become part of our community. Membership is open to people with recognised qualifications and/or experience in the fields of design research, design practice, design management, and design education.
The membership year runs from July 01 to June 30 of the following year. All memberships expire on June 30 of every year (unless registering for a 2-year membership during the ICED registration process).

There are four types of personal membership of the Design Society: Honorary Fellow, Fellow, Member and Associate Member.

Regulations Regarding Membership
By applying for membership you agree that the Design Society verify the data contained in your application; may use your personal data for the purposes of running and administering the Society; maintaining and updating the Society's membership list
