TWO NEW FACULTY POSITIONS
We are excited to announce two tenure track positions within the Section of Design for Sustainability at DTU Construct, DTU - Technical University of Denmark.
We are looking for two experienced and ambitious new colleagues two become tenure track assistant professor/ researcher working at the interface between sustainability and design (e.g. Sustainable Design, Circular Economy, Remanufacturing, Product/Service-Systems, Absolute Sustainability).
Within our rapidly developing Section of Design for Sustainability, you will contribute to exciting and innovative research areas, within the department. In addition to joining a top interdisciplinary and multinational team, you will have the opportunity to make an impact solving some of the most critical sustainability challenges the world is facing.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
You will lead the development of a new research area within the Section of Design for Sustainability, enabling a successful industrial transition towards sustainability. Your primary tasks will include:
- Establish a strong research area within Design for Sustainability
- Contribute to ongoing research projects & activities within the Section
- Engage in and initiate/lead external funding acquisition
- Publish research results in high-end scientific journals and conferences
- Co-/supervision of BSc, MSc, and PhD students
- Engage in teaching activities, taking a co-/lead role on courses
In addition to being part of the Section of Design for Sustainability, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate with DTU’s pan-university Centre for Absolute Sustainability. Your new workplace will be DTU’s main campus in Kgs. Lyngby, Copenhagen.
