Abstract
Design-specifications play an important role in aligning organizational work and ensure everyone works towards the same solution. With many separate specifications and the fast revision pace of modern gloal business processes, there is a need to manage those revisions and changes and to make sure the information they hold is accessible for the whole organization. In this paper a concept is introduced for a chain-like data structure that allows merging design specifications and tracking all changes. The functionality behind it is inspired from state of the art software development methods.
