Abstract:
This study proposes a material-driven design method that integrates emotional experience and green product evaluation, aiming to explore the potential of waste materials in promoting sustainable development and enhancing user emotional engagement. Using waste ceramics as a case study, the research employs a process that includes screening key material qualities, developing user visions, generating innovative product concepts, and conducting evaluations focused on both emotional experience and green design criteria. The results demonstrate that this approach effectively strengthens the emotional and ecological connections between users and products, highlighting how materials and design can serve as a vital bridge linking sustainability with meaningful emotional experiences.
