Abstract

Although past studies have advocated that a technology-oriented service could be treated as one of competitive advantages for the tourism industry, few empirical evidence was found to indicate whether it can truly bring better service experience for tourists. Therefore, in this paper, we explore the effects of the tourist's technology readiness (TR) and the type of service design on service experience quality.
