Chair in Systems Engineering - King's College London
King’s College London, one of the top 25 universities in the world (QS World University Rankings 2018), is looking to appoint leading academics to complement the development of our engineering offering in the heart of our central London campus.
At King’s we are building a multimillion pound world-leading facility with a 21st-Century focus, which will maximise our interdisciplinary links and establish valuable new research themes and partnerships. Building on our existing strengths in computer science, robotics, telecommunications and biomedical engineering, our aim is to create a world-class research activity in conjunction with new innovative education programmes.
In order to achieve our ambition, we are now looking to recruit a Professor with a focus in systems and design engineering, including autonomous & cyber-physical systems and engineering management (supply chain, operations research, innovation & entrepreneurship).
Applications are sought from distinguished scholars who will initiate, lead and launch research projects and play a key role in the setup and development of the new department. The successful candidate will have a substantial track record in research, teaching and professional achievement and be expected to make a major contribution to the development of our innovative education model.
It is an exciting time to join King’s during this period of ambitious growth, supported by significant university investment.
