The Design Society Chat Room: PhD Coffee Chat & Sharing Experiences

There will always be challenges for PhD students and overcoming them can be difficult to accomplish alone. Yet these challenges are rarely truly unique. The DS membership has decades of experience and sharing that experience is critical to fostering a stronger, more robust research community.
The DS Chat Room is looking for DS PhD students at all stages of their research to talk about their work. This informal session is designed to look specifically at the challenges facing the PhD researcher, answering What challenges have you overcame in the last year? and What challenges are you confronting now?
Part brainstorming, part chat with a mentor, this is a fantastic opportunity for PhD’s to share their own strategies and for experienced DS members to impart their wealth of experience and knowledge to solve these challenges.
