Following a tradition dating back to 1956, TU Ilmenau will host the 53rd International Scientific Colloquium (IWK) on September 8-12, 2008, organised by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
Topics of the conference are:
1. Intelligent Mechanics in Robotics
2. Nano Materials and Processing
3. Functionalization of Material Surfaces
4. PC-based Control
5. Quality Measurement and Industrial Image Processing
6. Systems Engineering for MEMS and MOEMS
7. Engineering Design (Methods & Tools, Machine Elements and Intelligent Components, Precision & Optical Engineering)
The conference language is English. Please see deadlines for paper submission in the attched documents; papers will be refereed by an international board.
