This workshop is a follow-up of the first workshop in 2010 which has been very successful (7 editors-in-chief present, 41 researchers from 10 countries).
It aims at helping researchers transform their presented papers, e.g. from past DESIGN or ICED conferences, into high-quality journal publications.
For authors, the main benefit of the workshop is the constructive feedback they will receive on their papers. From there, they should be able to rework and extend their papers for direct submission to a journal through a rigid review process.
The editors of the following journals have already agreed to attend the workshop as advisors:
- CoDesign (Taylor & Francis)
- Design Studies (Elsevier)
- Journal of Design Research (Iderscience)
- Journal of Engineering Design (Taylor & Francis)
- Journal of Mechnical Design (ASME)
- Research in Engineering Design (Springer)
- Technovation (Elsevier)
Important Dates:
10.10.2011: Submission of your ICED11 paper
14.11.2011: Acceptance of participation
10.01.2012: Submission of revised papers
